Hello! I’m desperately trying to incorporate podcasts into my wordpress MU blog just as you’ve done. Would you mind telling me what you used to get them to work? I’ve tried just about every plug in out there with no luck.

Just happened upon this, maybe I’m a bit late, but just in case anyone else is looking for the same info…
There were 2 « special » steps I had to take to get our podcasts published as they are in our WordPress MU blog. First is the Flash player. There’s a great plug-in for that called Audio Player from Martin Laine at 1pixelout:

I just set that plug-in to look for mp3 links and automatically insert the Flash audio player instead. Very nice plug-in.
The next problem is that the MU blog does not recognize the mp3s and automatically add enclosure tags to create a proper rss feed for a podcast. For that I just used feedburner. You can see the URL for the podcast feed actually comes from feedburner.com (not from nte.unifr.ch):
http://feeds.feedburner.com/edutechNTE
You create a feedburner account, give it the URL of your blog, and it will generate the rss for you. It understands that mp3 files should be wrapped in enclosure tags and does that automagically. So you just use the feedburner URL wherever you offer a link to subscribe to the podcast. Maybe that helps?
