Flash on the Beach

If you didn’t get to Flash on the Beach this year, block out the time for next year. This is an excellent conference.

The signs of a great conference are clearly exhibited by FOTB: speakers, big name speakers, are regularly attending the talks given by other speakers (even the less famous). The organizer himself was attending the sessions (he was that organized). If you miss out on a presentation that was full and « end up » in a another one, you’re just as likely to come away from your alternate choice with great info and real inspiration. Same if you’re not sure which of the parallel sessions to attend, and you just try one blindly, you’re not disappointed.

Then there’s the great venue (the beach, the Dome) and of course, the after-party. 😉
