E-Books – getting close to real?

Robin Good interviews Antonio Tombolini on e-books. The videos are in Italian, but there a text translation of most of the dialogue; watching the videos gives a pretty good idea of the size and weight of the iLiad, a Linux-based e-book reader made by iRex Technologies (plus it lets you practice your Italian comprehension). Antonio Tombolini has launched an e-book publishing business called Simplissimus Book Farm.
Interesting to think about how far off we are from reading without turning pages. It looks actually like we’re heading back to a sort of scrolling action instead. 😉 What will be the implications for e-learning?
