A previous post mentioned a tool called Multimedia Learning Object Authoring Tool. As is so often the case, a closer look reveals the product to be less impressive than the promise.

First of all, the tool is not available for download (which the download page kindly informs us). The online demo is not all that easy to use, as it doesn’t offer the possibility to edit an already created object, instead requiring you to create a new one. It is possible to upload images. However, any image larger than the space provided is simply displayed spilling out of the interface. In general, the tool does not give a very polished impression.
