gotoMeeting

A quick test of gotoMeeting, a screen and application sharing tool, showed that it is a powerful and easy to use tool. No time needed to get used to the simple and easy to understand interface. The meeting organizer can share her screen, allow other participants to control it, or give the presenter role to others. The reaction time seemed quick (little discernable delay between the presenters’ actions and the participants’ perception of them). A chat is included, though combining gotoMeeting with a Skype conference call worked quite well.

All that ease of use and power comes with a price: it works with Windows only, and costs from $39 per month or $468 per year.
